T-1000 Project: Escape from Chaldea

I'm definitely around and active, and quite a lot of developments have been going on! As always, if I'm not posting so much, it's likely that I'm crafting like mad, and these past months have been extremely busy. I can honestly say that I didn't even touch a computer for almost a month and a half, which is an insane record for me since I've been on one at least once a day since I was about ten (that includes weekends, evacutations for *cough* California fire season *cough* and the one time I broke out in  hives and I couldn't go to school for about a week)   That being said, I'm definitely hoping to be more active and to gain a better balance on updates and work in progress so I'm not totally radio silent all the time. I'm excited to share my months and months worth of work in this post, along with discussing some really fun upcoming plans for the rest of the year and early next. Skit Development and Progress: Project T-1000

Today's update concerns an upcoming cosplay skit project that I've been developing for some time now! I usually post after the skit about my design concepts and inspirations, but I'm really excited to share my thought process, research, and goals towards this project! Beyond the video background, our skit's themes are of teamwork, the dynamics of a student and mentor, and the courage it takes to become a hero in the face of the unknown. As storytellers, we want to create a skit that will put on a show, but also share our message, and invoke strong emotions to our

New Year, New Projects!

It's been a little while, but I've definitely been busy! The last leg of the 2018 year went by really quickly, but I enjoyed quite a bit of cosplay experiences along the way! Since my last update, I've had the pleasure of working on some wonderful skits, and focusing on the core of storytelling again by adding details to both my costume and our set work to develop each concept. At Anime California, I took the challenge of creating a storytelling skit from Majestic Majolical, which was more difficult than I thought. There's a lot I took from the experience that helped me go into my next project for PMX 2018. I had a wonderful masquerade partner for PMX,  and we won Best in Show with our Tanabata Madoka and Homura from Madoka Magica! Shortly afterwards, we began developing our next skit for ALA 2019, which had initially been a duo skit from a totally different series, but while revisiting the project, we began to notice some issues with the storytelling aspect of
